Brooch and rose corsage
Roses surrounding a brooch make for arm art rather than the typical corsage.

Backyard Wedding Reception with a Scottish twist
Wedding reception guests were greeted by a garland of white roses and blue thistle
Inside the door there was a memory tree with photos from memories the bridal couple have made over the years.
Blooms created little flower arrangements for the wedding guest tables, starting with birds nests. The bride and groom were married in Scotland so we brought in an ode to the Scottish wedding by using thistle and blue and green flowers
Further in were larger tables for the wedding guests with birdcages and little bird candles sitting on nests. We hung lanterns in blues and greens to illuminate the night.

Wedding at Mulvaneys
Happy New Year! And Congratulations to all you newly engaged couples!
Here is a little wedding eye candy for you, one of my favorites.
Today I will post the Wedding ceremony and Cocktail hour photos, then another day I will post the amazing wedding reception photographers.
Our bride started her day out at the lovely Citizen Hotel in downtown Sacramento.
We blinged out the brides bouquet using gorgeous rhinestone garland and centered the bridal bouquet with a beautiful rhinestone broach.

Our bride started her day out at the lovely Citizen Hotel in downtown Sacramento.
The lobby of the Citizen Hotel in Sacramento is a favorite for brides and wedding photographers
We used an eclectic mix of flowers, dahlias, peonies, anemones, dusty miller scabiosa and lots of other fun flowers to create a beautiful brides bouquet

For the bridesmaids flowers we went with a tad more pale hue
The groom and groomsmen boutonnieres were made up with ping pong scabiosa and silver bruniea
Blooms created mossy flower girl baskets with succulent accents
The bridal party
Mulvaneys Courtyard
We took the existing vines and added in flowers from the wedding décor to add color and beauty
We placed a series of floral arrangements and succulents on the ground down the ceremony aisle. We were then able to repurpose these flowers for the cocktail tables.
The bride and grooms initials greeted the guests as they entered the cocktail hour
So many fun floral details throughout Mulvaney's
We hung glass vases with flowers and candles from the ceiling of the cocktail lounge
Beautiful bottles on side tables of the wedding celebration
The ceremony aisle flowers moved to the cocktail tables for the wedding reception
