Oak Farm Vineyard Wedding Lodi California part 1

What can I say, this was one of my favorite weddings this season. I was able to work with some of my favorite vendors and with a wonderful family.

Ashley's mom and dads wedding photo.

The bridal bouquet was made up of cabbage roses, scabiosa pods, bouvadia and lysianthus.

I LOVE what Tia, the fabulous hair and makeup artist did with Ashely's hair, using the succulents was so unique

Love the floral embellishment on the bridal gown.

Ashley's family is so close and loving, it was a joy to be around them on the wedding day.

The guests were greeted at the gate with romantic moss and floral hearts.

The gorgeous farm house at Oak Farm Vineyard.

After parking guest walked past the barn and under the delightful wedding banner

The ceramic plate was what the groom used to propose to the bride, so romantic

A picnic basket for a little refreshment before the ceremony.

Bouvardia and scabiosa pods wrapped in twine for the grooms boutonniere

Calistoga Ranch Wedding, Getting Ready

Todays post isn't much of a flower post, but the images by Meredith Davenport of the Christian Oth Studio in New York, were so beautiful I just had to share. Jennifer and Maciej Choose Calistoga Ranch in Calistoga California as their perfect wedding site. When you arrive at Calistoga Ranch, your car is parked and you spend your visit either walking or being chauffeured around in golf carts. It makes for a very peaceful stay. Jennifer started the wedding journey with darling save the dates, done as dish towels with their theme of "One big love feast". The wedding invitations went out with real spoons attached, so cute! We carried the spoon and love feast theme throughout the wine cave wedding reception, which you will see next week. Jennifer and Maciej's invitation is currently being featured in Real Simples Current wedding magazine. As Jennifer and Maciej got ready they were so sweet sending gifts back and forth to each other via gold cart. Jennifer received jewelry, and Maciej received a Mac ipad! Succulent fun for weddings

Succulents are very big in wedding flowers this season. Rather than go with the natural, earthy look, I thought it would be fun to mix it up and add bright colors. Bringing together, craspedia, succulents, and green Kermit mums. Then wrapping it all in fabulous polka dots and green buttons.
For centerpieces apothecary jars filled with succulents and flowers, with little floral balls to accent.
Then for the wedding guest table a potted topiary of green Kermit mums and Billy balls.

St. Helena Wedding at Go Fish Restaraunt

Margot called me from Canada to help with her wedding in St. Helena. She was married at the Go Fish Restaurant. Go Fish has a great outdoor ceremony and their patio is lovely for receptions.
I used an eclectic mix roses, scabiosa, olive branches, moss, craspidia, dahlias, cosmos and other fun stuff.
I often work with brides from out of state planning weddings in Northern California. Margot and I never met face to face, yet she loved her flowers, here is her thank you note. I get so happy when my brides love their flowers.
, Martha, thank you so much for the beautiful job you did with our flowers. We were absolutely blown away by everything, and the fact that you did such a perfect job without even meeting us is unbelievable! As you may remember, I had planned for my bridesmaids to wear fall colours, but they kind of ended up in a mishmash of random colours... Somehow, the bouquets matched perfectly - even the fuschia! Perfect - you couldn't have done a better job if I had sent you dress swatches! :)

Thanks so much!

Margot
