Anthropologie!
Usually I try to stick with my work when I blog, but last week I received the new Anthorpologie catalog, even my husband, who doesn't spend much time concerned with such things, commented on how beautiful it was. It really is worth your while to pick one up.
A few of the pages really spoke to me as a floral designer, I have often seen people try to do whimpsical flowers in hair, but it often just doesn't turn out well, But Anthropologie nailed it!
How gorgeous is this, and they used a spider mum, in her hair, not an easy feat!
Here is one of my attempts at whimsical hair, now I want to try to weave it in the way Anthropologie did.

Woodsey centerpieces
Now here is a recycling project that speaks to me. Old rusty cans, used as the sign in! Darling, love it!
All I have is an i phone photo, but these are such cute centerpieces. Simple and sweet a slice of log with a bowl for a vase, and viola!

Spa fresh flowers! Eco friendly too
Sometimes I wonder if I have split personality? I LOVE bling, sparkle, antiques, feathers, girlie, girl things... but then there is the me that loves clean, simple, fresh modern...I guess it just depends on the day, the mood and often the wedding...

Details Matter
Details, details, details! It is easy to think of all the big things, centerpieces, bridal bouquets, corsages etc... but often it is the little things that will set your wedding day apart from otheres. A flower at each place setting, flowers on the backs of chairs, a flower on a chandelier. All together add up to a wow! when your guests come in the room.
