The Find Rentals Launch Party

I'm so excited for all you vintage brides! Sacramento has a new source for rentals that will enhance your vintage wedding. The Find. thefindrentals.com
Wedding planner Aimee Wendel, www.2chicevents.com, has put together some great items. Whether you want a shabby chic wedding, a rustic wedding or an antique wedding look, Aimee has something in her collection to help.

For the Find's launch party, Aimee displayed this white coffee table with milk glass, all for rent! Blooms filled the milk glass with simple all white flowers, queen Anne's lace, Hyacinth, white berries, white ranunculus, and one of Blooms by Martha's favorites, sweet peas.

We LOVE this white Victorian set, great for a lounge at your wedding. Blooms added white china mums on top of crystal stands for this setting.

Another favorite are the vintage boxes, a cigar box, cheese box etc... Here we filled them with antique cabbage roses, dahlias, wax flower, hydrangeas, and berries . Love the vintage bottles surrounding the boxes.

How darling is this vintage coffee can filled with cheerful yellow craspida sitting on top of an old game board. This look would be great at a cocktail hour.

On more coffee can using the populare wedding colors gray and yellow.

Firehouse Restaurant Wedding

I love the Firehouse restaurant, it's where my grandmother would take me when I was a little girl, I would get dressed up and feel so special to be going out to eat at such a "fancy" place. So I love when I do weddings there. The courtyard with it's brick walls and old trees is a magical place to get married.

For Jennifer's wedding we wired flowers right onto the wall in the old vines that cover it. We then placed clusters of hydrangeas and roses down the aisle. Each table was done with a metalic urn that complimented the feeling of the courtyard. The bouquets were made up of old English garden roses from David Austin, chocolate cosmos, snowberries etc...

Peacock Wedding at Catta Verdera Country Club

Nicole wanted rich peacock colors for her wedding at the Catta Verdera Country club in Lincoln California. We went with teal, royal blue, green and deep burgundy's and purples with peacock feathers as accent. Here is Nicole's Bridal bouquet. We emphasized greens for the brides bouquet. Then for the bridesmaids we brought in more of the deeper tones.

The groom wore a lady slipper orchids with a monkey tail and peacock feather.

I love the teal dresses and the rich color combinations of the bride and bridesmaids flowers.
Deep plum calla lily's, green Kermit mums, royal delphimium, lady slipper orchids, spider mums, tulips and monkey tails were the main stay of the wedding flowers.

Blooms created a ring bearer pillow out of green Yoko Ono mums with a purple orchid and peacock feathers.
The flower girl carried a princess wand rather than the traditional flower girl basket. What little girl doesn't love to dress up and play princess!

For the ceremony we made a floral garland to go across the top or the arbor. Then we draped the arbor with gold and teal satin to complete the peacock theme.
Using amber crystals, we placed these aisle clusters of feathers and orchids down the aisle.

Whimsical flower vases sat on the cocktail tables. A combination of short and tall centerpieces.

Monkey tails and orchids as the cake top.

For the sweetheart table, a garland of flowers and candles.

Fantastic sparkler send off.

Polka Dot Wedding at the Citizen Hotel Sacramento

How fun are these polka dot gerbera daisy bridal bouquets! My bride wanted her bouquet to match her favorite shoes.
The pretty rose petal aisle with a swirly pattern.

I love my silver tree candelabras.
Elegant but fun brides bouquet.
Black and white flowers with pops of red. Classic but fun.

I love the black and red anemone boutonniere.
For sweetheart tables I like to do a garland to be in proportion to the table rather than a "centerpiece".

How fabulous is the cake by Freeport bakery in Sacramento? Black white and red, amazing.
A sparkler send off. A wonderful end to an amazing wedding.

Marie and Kriss at the Citizen Hotel Sacramento

Our bride Marie choose a pastel pallet of ivory, butter, lavender and pale pink for her bridal bouquet.

The bridesmaids wore a mix of purple and lavender bridesmaids dresses.

A bi-colored rose for the groom.

Lovely pale pink rose bridesmaid bouquet.

Lavender rose bridesmaid bouquet.

Mix of pastel roses for the flower girl pomander.

Pastel roses make up this flower girl hair wreath.

I love my silver trees, for Marie's wedding we wired pastel roses all over to look as if they were blooming. Then we lined the aisle with pink, lavender and ivory rose petals and completed the romantic look with candle lite.
I love to hang things from the chandeliers at the Citizen Hotel. Here we hung crystals and large rose wreaths. Such a glamorous look for the wedding reception.

Silver branches hung with crystal candles sat a top gorgeous mixed color centerpieces using hydrangeas and roses for each of the guests tables.

One of my favorite head tables, silver branches down the center with roses, hydrangeas, and tons of candles and lots of crystal.
