Dear dear Martha,

I could not be more obsessed or blown away with the stunning works of arts you created for my wedding.

You took my vision and made it even more gorgeous than I could have dreamed. The bouquets were magical, the boutonnières were perfection, and don't get me started on the ribbon curtain. It was color and romance and whimsy all wrapped up and swirling in love.

Thank you for making our day beautiful. You'll be in our hearts forever.
With love and so much gratitude,
Mr and Mrs James and Emily Lisowski!!

I can't wait to show you this wedding when the fabulous Sonja of Sonia Savio Photography, has the images from this wedding ready for us!

Pretty peonies at The Monte Verde Inn

I love the way the peony bridal bouquet compliments the bridal gown, I love wedding flowers to coordinate with the brides dress.

Wedding Arbor

For brides getting married outside there is often an arbor for the ceremony.  Here is an arbor we decorated at The Monte Verde Inn.  We used simple organza and hydrangea to create a lovely bridal look for this outdoor wedding.

Flower Girl Wagon

Do you have a flower girl that is very young?  Maybe not yet walking or little enough to be very unpredictable?  A wagon is a great way to get that little girl down the aisle.
Here is a flower girl wagon we decorated not to long ago.

I love the fresh look of this navy and green wedding. Notice the colorful draping at the arbor, it's fun to go beyond white!

Sydney and Ben at the Monte Verde Inn

Last weekend I was at one of my favorite venues, the lovely Monte Verde Inn www.monteverdeinn.net. Jessica from Stout Photography, blog.stoutphoto.com, was their photographer, it was my second week in a row working with Jessica. I just LOVE her!

Sydney and Ben have been sweethearts since high school, pretty exciting to fianally see their big day.

Pretty posies in a row. My beloved antique roses, bouvardia, astible, and yarrow make up these vintage bouquets.
I ADORE this photo! This is the way a groom should look when he sees his bride walking down the aisle.

Can you say gorgeous! Kelly, the owner of the Inn made the cake.

Scottish Wedding with Family Plaid

For the mothers we went with Victorian Tussie Mussies

My first wedding of 2010 was a small intimate affair. The lovely bride, Margaret, flew in from New York and was married at the Monte Verde Inn.
Margaret is from Scottish Heritage, and so we used her family plaid to wrap her bouquet and the boutonnieres.
Flowers used, Amarlyis, roses, dusty miller, rosemary, ranuculus and various berries.
