I love the way the peony bridal bouquet compliments the bridal gown, I love wedding flowers to coordinate with the brides dress.

Calistoga Ranch Wedding Fall 2012
I love weddings, the opportunity to work at many different venues. Calistoga Ranch, in Calistoga California, part of the amazing Napa Wine country, is truly a magical place. Each guest stays in their own "cabin" and there is such a sense of calm and serenity, it is truly a one of a kind experience to be there.
Lindsay called me from Canada, her family had stumbled upon Calistoga Ranch a few years back and she wanted to come back here to be married. We had some great conversations and planned the whole wedding decor over the phone and through emails. Lindsay used Gabe of Perspective Eye Photography as her wedding photographer, he did an amazing job capturing their day. I LOVE this shot with the hair spray, he made a hair product look so beautiful!

Lindsay and Guillaume have their first look, what a fairy tale spot.
Simple clusters of baby's breath line the aisle
Lindsay's dad walks her down the aisle
Such a sweet look of love, what a marriage ceremony is all about
Lindsay's bridal bouquet was made up of antique roses, herbs, and lavender. Lot's of texture. Her brides bouquet really went with the surroundings.
The lovely entrance to the wine cave at Calistoga Ranch
Candle light greeted the wedding guests at the entrance
The wine cave, we used a garland of olive branches to trim the chandeliers, it's all in the details, the garland made the wedding reception festive.
Each sconce was graced with a cluster of roses and olive branches. We created several different styles of centerpieces to go down the center of the two kings tables. Some had grapes and kale, along with ranuculus, roses, and lavender, we had little vases with olive branches and their olives. We included succulents and lots of candles to add to the romance of this wedding reception.

Lavender Shoot with Kt Merry & Sara Jean Events

How gorgeous are these images! I was more than happy to participate in this lovely lavender shoot in Sonoma. KT Merry and Sara contacted me and asked if I would do some bridal bouquets, table pieces etc... for a shoot they were doing at the Sonoma Lavender Farm. I LOVE lavender, and I LOVE KT Merry's photography so it was a no brainer to say yes. I put together 2 bouquets, one a formal peony with lavender and queen Anne's lace and another more casual made of lavender, alliumn, and bridal blush protea. For the flower girl a floral head wreath of lavender was just perfect for frolicking in the lavender fields.

Natalie and Aric Part 1
I'm so excited to share this wedding with you! Amber and Alan, a fabulous team with a darling little boy I might add, from www.artisticimagerypro.com were the photographer and film makers of the day! The wedding took place in Forest Hill. The ceremony area had an amazing view. Natalie wanted to define the ceremony space but I didn't want to block the gorgeous view. So I constructed birch trees and then strung them with crystals and roses.

There were pine trees everywhere so we hung rose heads on satin ribbon from the branches.
Crystals and roses lined the aisle.

For the flower girl, we created a little square purse using fresh flowers. She then threw the petals from her purse.

Natalie's bridal bouquet was wrapped in glass crystals.

I love the cream and grey bridesmaid bouquets, so elegant with the ballerina pink dresses.

A basket full of boutonnieres and corsages.
