I love weddings, the opportunity to work at many different venues. Calistoga Ranch, in Calistoga California, part of the amazing Napa Wine country, is truly a magical place. Each guest stays in their own "cabin" and there is such a sense of calm and serenity, it is truly a one of a kind experience to be there.
Lindsay called me from Canada, her family had stumbled upon Calistoga Ranch a few years back and she wanted to come back here to be married. We had some great conversations and planned the whole wedding decor over the phone and through emails. Lindsay used Gabe of Perspective Eye Photography as her wedding photographer, he did an amazing job capturing their day. I LOVE this shot with the hair spray, he made a hair product look so beautiful!
Lindsay and her dad
Lindsay and Guillaume have their first look, what a fairy tale spot.
Simple clusters of baby's breath line the aisle
Lindsay's dad walks her down the aisle
Such a sweet look of love, what a marriage ceremony is all about
Lindsay's bridal bouquet was made up of antique roses, herbs, and lavender. Lot's of texture. Her brides bouquet really went with the surroundings.
The lovely entrance to the wine cave at Calistoga Ranch
Candle light greeted the wedding guests at the entrance
The wine cave, we used a garland of olive branches to trim the chandeliers, it's all in the details, the garland made the wedding reception festive.
Each sconce was graced with a cluster of roses and olive branches. We created several different styles of centerpieces to go down the center of the two kings tables. Some had grapes and kale, along with ranuculus, roses, and lavender, we had little vases with olive branches and their olives. We included succulents and lots of candles to add to the romance of this wedding reception.
