Heather called me from her home in Texas, she wanted flowers for her wedding in Tahoe.  We used a muted pallet and added a touch of feathers.

Heather had hoped for an outdoor wedding in Tahoe, but snow brought it all indoors.

I choose a tall glass vase and added interest by putting curly willow and orchids in the base. Then a full floral with tulips, hydrangeas, protea, scabiosa sat on top. I then used more curly willow with orchids attached  to create an arch for the couple to be married under.

So sweet

Beautiful flower girl.

Amnesia roses, calla lilies, fern fronds, peonies, protea and scabiosa made up the bridal bouquet

The bridal bouquet was finished off with soft ostrich feathers

Spring wedding at the Citizen Hotel

Randie is a busy dermatology intern in New York City.  She called me to help plan her wedding flowers for her wedding at the Citizen Hotel in Sacramento California.  We did most of our planning through email with one face to face meeting.

I love the soft green dresses with the pale pinks and Ivory's.

It was a rainy day in Sacramento, but Randie cheered it up with these pretty pastel umbrellas, they say a rainy day for your wedding means good luck

Getting ready to walk down the aisle

We were able to design the wedding centerpieces to be used as aisle accents surrounded by pale rose petals.  Then during the cocktail hour, the arrangement's were moved to the dinner reception area
This photo was taken with my iPhone

We covered the guest place card table with rose petals to add a soft romantic touch

The centerpieces were made up of white hydrangeas and pale pink orchids

The wedding cake sat on a bed of rose petals surrounded with candles

Pink Marie Antoinette Wedding

Wedding at Arden Hills

This wedding took place at Arden Hills Resort and Spa. Our bride wanted a black and red theme with pearl accents.
We used black magic roses and black calla lilies. La Tavola linens in black lace. Blooms created 3 different centerpieces, a box of flowers with candles in the center, a black candelabra and finally a dramatic floral with black ostrich feathers.
We then hung flower balls on the chandelier over the dance floor.

Vow Renewal Bouquet

Today I have a sneak peek of of a bridal bouquet I did for a vowel renewal today. The story is so sweet, my couple eloped 10 years ago and never had a reception, wedding pictures etc... so on their 10th anniversary they decided to have the dress, the bouquet and reception and to have a fabulous photo shoot with a great photographer!

My friend Dave Shilling of dshillingphoto.netrefered Emily to me, thank you Dave.

Here is the bouquet, made of cabbage roses, star of Bethleham, Kochia, Dusty Miller, Anenome and scabiosa pods. I hope to have more to show you soon.

Wedding at The Lodge at Sonoma

This wedding took place at the Lodge at Sonoma in Sonoma California. Our bride wanted a soft vintage feeling. For the bouquets we used soft blushes and ivory. Cabbage roses, peonies, spray roses made up the bridal party flowers.
For the ceremony we kept it soft and simple using babies breath on the chairs with large satin ribbon, and lanterns with candles to add a lovely glow.
Each table at the reception had an eclectic mix of containers, Mercury glass, birch vases, vintage bottles, etc... We used dinner plate dahlias, cabbage roses, antique roses, scabiosa pods, veronica etc..
