A little Napa Winery Wedding

Liz was planning her destination wedding in Napa California and contacted me through email. We never met, but planned the whole wedding through phone and email. It was small but oh so pretty. I few peacock feathers to add some pop to the bridal bouquet and table centerpieces.

Calistoga Ranch Wedding Ceremony

Details, details, details. This wedding was just full of special touches everywhere. At the start of the bridge leading to the wedding ceremony we attached moss hearts and laced the bridge with roses. Then we created a birch structure and wove it with hundredres of white roses. The aisle was strew with rose petals. After the ceremony our couple headed out for more wedding photos on a golf cart decorated with another moss heart. The brides bouquet was made up of David Austin roses, garden roses, spray roses etc...all wrapped in a beautiful Midori silk ribbon. Fruit and flowers a lovely backyard wedding

Fruit and flowers.

For this back yard wedding, I created a combination of centerpieces using flowers and produce. Artichoke, limes, lemons, oranges.

Using several styles of glass, bowls, urns, we created an eclectic feel to the tables.

On the buffet we created a three tiered piece, using orchids, roses, thistle, berries, hydrangeas, berries etc...

Then we placed lanters around to add candlelite abmbiance. One of the favorite pieces of this wedding is the fabuous wedding cake. White chocolate shavings and hydrangeas in between the layers.

Corsages as jewelry

When considering the corsages for your wedding, consider adding a little bling to your pieces. The mothers will be wearing elegant dresses or gowns and a few rhinestones or pearls can really accent their ensemble. Whether they choose to pin on or wear a wristlet the possiblities are unlimited. If they do choose a wrist corsage to walk down the aisle, the choices here have improved quite a bit since the day of your prom. Gone are the silver stretchy, replaced by rhinesones, pearls and many other braceletts designed to look like jewelry.

Flower girls

Anyone who know me knows I love children, I should, I have 7! One of the best parts of a wedding are the children involved especially the little girls. I was one of those girls who had her wedding planned by the time I was 3. I still remember how it felt to play dress up and dream of being a princess. I think that's why a flower wand is my favorite choice for flower girl accessories. What better way to "play" princess than to get to be in a wedding, walk down the aisle all dressed up in a spinney dress carrying a flower wand.

I also love making little baskets or purses out of flowers for the flower girl to carry. This way she has a floral bouquet of sorts, but can still toss petals.
